Page Range Tool
The Page Range tool is an overlay that lets you configure default page label types by easily clicking and dragging ranges. Page labels are used in various places, such as indices on PDF export, and for automatic page numbering.
By default, page labels are just numbers starting from 1. Say you have an introduction section that you want numbered in reverse order, then right click on the bar to bring up the context menu, and select Roman numerals (upper or lower case), letters (upper or lower), plain numbers, or no label. You can also specify a custom base such as “A-#”, for instance, that will label pages A-1, A-2, A-3, etc. You may also supply a custom number offset before creating a label.
To create a section, simply hold down control and click somewhere in the range to create a new range division. You can adjust the range by simply dragging the border back and forth. Delete a range by sliding the border right next to another border.
